Daily Recap is a short daily summary of what happened with your business: calls, messages, and appointments. It arrives as a push notification from the SkipCalls mobile app at the time you choose.
What's in your Daily Recap
A short summary that leads with the most important thing that happened today and what you should do about it, such as a customer who wants a callback or an appointment that was booked.
Calls and messages together. Incoming calls, outgoing calls, and message conversations (texts, emails, and website chat) all count.
Appointments booked by your receptionist.
Links to up to 2 of the most important items, so you can open that call or conversation in one tap.
Spam blocked. On a quiet day the recap tells you how many spam calls were blocked. On busy days it skips spam so the important items stand out.
Calls you deleted and calls marked as spam are not counted as real calls.
Example
"Sarah Miller asked for a quote on a kitchen repair and wants a callback before 5 PM. A new appointment was booked for Thursday at 10 AM."
Turn on Daily Recap in the mobile app
Open the SkipCalls app and go to the Settings tab.
Tap App Settings, then Notifications.
Under Smart reports, turn on Daily Recap.
Tap Delivery time and pick when you want it. You can choose any time in 15-minute steps. The default is 8:00 AM.
Daily Recap is sent at the start of the hour you pick, so a time on the hour, such as 6:00 PM, is the most predictable choice.
Turn it on from the web dashboard
Click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar to open your Profile.
Open Notifications.
Under Smart reports, turn on Daily Recap and set the Delivery time.
The recap is delivered as a push notification, so install the SkipCalls mobile app, sign in, and allow notifications to receive it.
Read your recap
Tap the Daily Recap notification to open Today's Recap.
On a busy day, a Daily Recap card can also appear on the Home tab. Tap Read to open it.
Your recent recap also stays in your in-app notifications for 24 hours. Tap Get your recap to open it.
Today's Recap shows your counts for Incoming, Outgoing, and Messages, plus Booked appointments and Blocked spam when there are any. Tap a link in the summary to jump straight to that call or conversation.
