Your SkipCalls number is the phone number your AI receptionist answers. You'll need it to share with customers, or to set up call forwarding from your existing phone (iPhone, Android, Google Voice, Ooma, Verizon, and so on) so your calls reach your receptionist.
In the mobile app (iPhone and Android)
Open the SkipCalls app and tap Settings in the bottom bar.
Your receptionist's card is at the top. Your SkipCalls number is shown right under the receptionist's name.
To copy or share it, tap Receptionist Settings on the card, then tap SkipCalls Number. Choose Copy Number or Share with Customers.
If you have more than one receptionist, swipe the cards to see each one's number.
On the web dashboard
Log in at app.skipcalls.com.
In the left sidebar, click Phone Numbers.
Your SkipCalls numbers are listed under Numbers your receptionist answers, each with the receptionist that answers it.
A green dot means the number is answering calls. A gray dot with Paused means it isn't — click Unpause to turn it back on.
The web dashboard is also where you get more numbers, change which receptionist answers each one, or pause and remove numbers.
Use your number for call forwarding
Use your SkipCalls number as the "forward to" number in your phone carrier's settings. The easiest way:
On the web: on the Phone Numbers page, click Forward my calls next to your number. Pick your carrier and we'll show you the exact code to dial.
In the app: tap Receptionist Settings, then Setup & Help. Tap Show Setup Instructions to set up forwarding, and Test Call Forwarding to check it works.
