Overview

SkipCalls now integrates with Microsoft Outlook Calendar, so your AI receptionist can check your availability and book appointments directly into your Outlook schedule. This works with both Microsoft 365 business accounts and personal Outlook.com calendars.

How to Connect Outlook Calendar

Note: Outlook Calendar integration is currently available on the web dashboard at app.skipcalls.com. Google Calendar is available on both the mobile app and web dashboard.

  1. Log in to your SkipCalls dashboard at app.skipcalls.com

  2. Go to Settings → Integrations (or open the Integrations page from the sidebar)

  3. Find Outlook Calendar and click Connect

  4. Sign in with your Microsoft account and authorize SkipCalls

  5. Select which calendar to use for availability checking and booking

  6. Set your available days and hours for appointments

What It Does

  • Real-time availability sync — Your AI receptionist sees your Outlook calendar in real-time, preventing double-bookings

  • Automatic booking — When a caller wants to schedule an appointment, the AI creates an event in your Outlook calendar with their name, phone number, and a summary of the conversation

  • Conflict detection — SkipCalls checks all your calendars to prevent scheduling conflicts

  • Microsoft 365 support — Works with both personal Outlook.com and business Microsoft 365 accounts

Microsoft 365 Business Accounts

If you use a Microsoft 365 business or enterprise account, your IT administrator may need to approve SkipCalls access before you can connect. Ask your admin to allow the SkipCalls application in the Azure AD admin center.

Troubleshooting

  • Can't connect? — Make sure you're signed into the correct Microsoft account. Try disconnecting and reconnecting.

  • Calendar not showing? — Verify the correct calendar is selected in your integration settings (personal vs work).

  • Permission denied? — For Microsoft 365 business accounts, contact your IT admin to approve SkipCalls.

  • Bookings not appearing? — Check that the calendar is set to "writable" in your integration settings.

FAQ

You can connect one calendar provider per agent. If you have multiple agents, each can use a different provider.

Does it cost extra?

No, the Outlook Calendar integration is included in all SkipCalls plans at no additional cost.

Is it available on the mobile app?

Not yet — Outlook Calendar is currently available on the web dashboard only. Google Calendar works on both mobile and web.
