Connect Your Calendar in the Mobile App

Written by Nikita Podelenko

Connect your calendar in the SkipCalls app so your receptionist can check when you're free and book appointments during calls.

Before you start

  • An active subscription.

  • Your receptionist is set up. If it isn't, the app will ask you to finish that first.

Connect your calendar

  1. Open the Settings tab and tap Integrations.

  2. Tap Connect Calendar, then Choose Calendar Provider.

  3. Pick your calendar:

    • Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar: sign in and allow access.

    • Apple Calendar: enter your Apple ID and an app-specific password. See Connect Apple Calendar.

    • Calendly, Cal.com, Square Bookings, or GoHighLevel: the app opens the web dashboard, where you finish connecting.

Set your booking preferences

After connecting, the Appointment Booking screen opens. Use Select Calendar to choose which calendar to set up, then adjust:

  • Agent Can Create Events: turn off if the receptionist should only check your availability without booking.

  • Work days and Working Hours: tap days to turn them on or off. Turn off Same hours every day to set different hours per day.

  • Default Booking Duration: from 10 minutes up to 6 hours.

  • Break Between Events: add a 5-minute to 1-hour gap between appointments.

  • Booking Preferences: plain-language rules, like "Only book 30-minute consultations" or "Ask for their email before booking."

  • Public Calendar: lets your receptionist mention event names on your calendar to callers. We recommend turning off event creation when this is on.

Tap Save Changes, then call your number and try booking.

For Calendly, Cal.com, Square, and GoHighLevel, work days, hours, and appointment length come from that service, so change them there.

Add or remove a calendar

  • Tap ⋯ in the top-right corner of the Appointment Booking screen to connect another calendar.

  • Tap Disconnect Calendar at the bottom to remove the selected calendar from your receptionist.

  • Need several calendars on one receptionist? Set that up in the web dashboard.
