App Settings

Configure the SkipCalls app to work the way you want with these settings.

Accessing App Settings

Go to Settings tab → App Settings to find these options.

Push Notifications

Stay informed about your calls with push notifications. If you haven't enabled them yet:

  1. Tap Enable Push Notifications

  2. Allow notifications when prompted by your phone

You'll receive notifications for:

  • New incoming calls handled by your receptionist

  • Completed outgoing calls

  • New SMS messages

  • Daily recaps (if enabled)

Smart Retry

When an outgoing call fails (busy signal, no answer), Smart Retry automatically tries again with improved timing.

Toggle this feature on or off in App Settings. When enabled:

  • Failed calls are automatically retried

  • The AI adjusts timing for better success rates

  • You'll be notified when the call eventually connects

Dark Mode

Switch between light and dark themes based on your preference:

  1. Find Dark Mode in App Settings

  2. Toggle the switch to enable or disable

Dark mode uses darker colors that are easier on the eyes in low-light conditions and can help save battery on OLED screens.

Daily Recap

Get a daily summary of your call activity delivered as a push notification:

  1. Toggle Daily Recap on

  2. Set your preferred time (tap the time to change it)

The recap includes:

  • Number of calls received

  • Summary of important conversations

  • Any missed opportunities or follow-ups needed

You can adjust the time to receive recaps when it's most convenient — for example, at the end of your workday or first thing in the morning.

Sync Contacts

Import your phone contacts so the AI can greet callers by name:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations

  2. Tap Sync Contacts

  3. Confirm when prompted

Once synced, calls from known contacts will show their name instead of just their phone number.

Spam Protection

SkipCalls can identify and filter spam calls:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations

  2. Tap Spam Protection

  3. Follow the setup instructions for your device

On Android, this feature integrates with your phone's native call screening to catch spam before it even rings.

Profile Settings

Access Profile & Account to update:

  • Your name and contact information

  • Date of birth and address

  • Subscription and billing

  • Favorite calls

You can also log out or delete your account from this section.
