Checked September 26, 2026. ChatGPT, Claude, Grok Bot, and Muse change their menus and connector rules. If a label below has moved, look for “Apps,” “Connectors,” “Plugins,” or “MCP” in that assistant’s settings.
Connecting an assistant lets you ask it to review SkipCalls calls and help configure your receptionist. SkipCalls still answers the phone. You stay in control of changes and outbound messages.
Before you connect
Sign in to your account at app.skipcalls.com.
In the web dashboard, open Integrations → AI Agents for the current in-app guide.
When your assistant asks for a remote MCP server, use https://be.skipcalls.com/mcp. Choose OAuth and finish SkipCalls sign-in and approval in your browser. Do not paste your password or an API key into the chat.
ChatGPT
On the ChatGPT website, open Settings → Apps. If your plan or workspace offers Developer mode, turn it on under Advanced settings.
Choose Create to add a custom app. Name it SkipCalls, enter the MCP URL above, choose OAuth, and scan the tools. Complete the sign-in prompt in your browser.
Select the new SkipCalls app in a chat before asking it to read your calls or propose changes.
ChatGPT’s custom-app access depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace permissions. As of this check, full MCP actions are in beta for Business, Enterprise, and Edu. Pro can use read and fetch access but may not be able to change settings or send messages through the connector. See OpenAI’s current guide.
Claude
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors. On an individual Pro or Max plan, choose + → Add custom connector. On Team or Enterprise, an organization owner adds the connector first.
Name it SkipCalls, enter the MCP URL, and add it. Then choose Connect and approve access in your browser.
Enable SkipCalls for the conversation from Claude’s connector menu.

Grok Bot
Ask your Bot to help add a remote MCP server, or open its Plugins or connector settings yourself. Add the SkipCalls MCP URL and complete OAuth sign-in in your browser. Grok Bot supports MCP servers, but the way to add one can vary by account and Bot setup. If it cannot add this connector, ask it to show the exact missing option instead of assuming that a prompt connected your account. See the Grok Bot guide.
Muse
If your Muse account has a custom connector or remote MCP option, add the SkipCalls URL there and approve access in your browser. Muse does not document a universal self-service “add any MCP URL” path for every account; some connectors go through its connector platform and review. If you do not see a custom connector option, use the SkipCalls chat or one of the assistants above until that option is available in your account.
Check the connection
Try one short request: “Use SkipCalls to list my receptionists and summarize my five most recent calls. Show me any proposed changes before saving or texting anyone.” If the assistant cannot call a SkipCalls tool, the connection is not active yet. A pasted prompt alone does not grant access.
SkipCalls does not charge a separate fee for its MCP connection. Your AI assistant may require its own paid plan or administrator approval. For more detail, see our AI agent connection guide.
