After-Call Results: Data Extraction and Lead Qualify

Written by Nikita Podelenko

After every call, SkipCalls can automatically pull out the details you need and check whether the call reached your goal. You decide what to look for once, and every future call is reviewed for you. No need to reread transcripts.

Two features, one goal

  • Data Extraction saves specific details from each call, such as a budget, a preferred date, an address, or a yes/no answer. Set it up in the receptionist's Data Extraction section. Full guide: How to Set Up Data Extraction.

  • Lead Qualify gives each call a pass/fail result for the outcomes you care about, such as "appointment booked" or "qualified buyer." Set it up in the receptionist's Lead Qualify section. Full guide: How to Set Up Lead Qualify.

Both sections are under Post Processing in the receptionist's settings. Open Receptionists in the left sidebar of the web dashboard and select a receptionist to find them.

Which plans include them

Data Extraction and Lead Qualify are included with Growth and higher web plans, and with mobile app plans. They are set up in the web dashboard.

Where you see the results

  • Call details: open a call in the web dashboard to see the extracted details and each Lead Qualify result (Passed, Failed, or Unclear).

  • Your other tools: results are included in webhooks, so you can update your CRM, a spreadsheet, or a Zapier workflow automatically.

Which one should I use?

  • Need the value of something (how much, when, where)? Use Data Extraction.

  • Need a yes or no on an outcome (did they book, are they a good fit)? Use Lead Qualify.

  • Want to be notified about valuable calls? Use the Valuable lead alerts rule at the top of the Lead Qualify section, or set up Lead Alerts.

Good to know

  • Changes apply to future calls only. Past calls are not reviewed again.

  • If a caller didn't mention a detail, it stays empty instead of being guessed.

  • Start with two or three fields or rules, check the results on a few real calls, and adjust the wording if needed.
