How to Connect GoHighLevel CRM

The GoHighLevel integration allows you to seamlessly sync your AI-powered call activities with your CRM. By connecting SkipCalls to GoHighLevel, you can automatically create contacts, log call details, and sync notes directly into your sub-accounts, ensuring your sales pipeline is always up to date without manual data entry.

Before you start

  • An active GoHighLevel account (Agency or Sub-account level)

  • A SkipCalls account with an active subscription

  • Admin access to your GoHighLevel Settings

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. In your SkipCalls dashboard, navigate to Settings β†’ API Keys.

  2. Click on the CRM tab and select GoHighLevel from the list of integrations.

  3. Enter your GoHighLevel API Key (see the section below on how to find this).

  4. Enter your Location ID. This is optional but highly recommended for marketing agencies managing multiple locations to ensure data goes to the right sub-account.

  5. Toggle the "Automatically Create Contacts" option to enabled (recommended). This ensures that any new lead who calls or is called by your AI agent is automatically added to your CRM.

  6. Click "Test Connection" to verify your credentials.

  7. Once verified, click "Save Settings" to activate the integration.

How to get your GoHighLevel credentials

Finding your API Key

  • Log in to your GoHighLevel dashboard.

  • Click on Settings at the bottom of the main sidebar menu.

  • Navigate to API Keys (or Integrations depending on your version).

  • Click "Create API Key" if you don't have one, or copy your existing API Key.

Finding your Location ID

  • In GoHighLevel, go to Settings.

  • Click on Business Info.

  • You will find the Location ID listed under the "Business Details" section.

What gets synced?

Once connected, SkipCalls will automatically push the following information to GoHighLevel:

  • Contact Information: Name, phone number, and email address of the caller.

  • Call Records: Duration, timestamp, and status of the call.

  • Notes: AI-generated summaries and key takeaways from the conversation are added as notes to the contact's timeline.

  • Activities: Calls are logged as completed activities within the CRM.

Solution

Double-check that you copied the full key without any trailing spaces. Ensure the key hasn't been regenerated in GHL.

Location Not Found

Verify that the Location ID matches the specific sub-account you want to sync data to.

Contacts Not Syncing

Ensure the "Automatically Create Contacts" toggle is turned on in SkipCalls settings.
