How to Connect Cal.com
SkipCalls integrates directly with Cal.com, allowing your AI agents to check your real-time availability and book appointments directly on your calendar. This ensures you never miss an opportunity and your schedule stays organized automatically.
Before you start
An active Cal.com account.
A SkipCalls account with an AI agent ready to handle bookings.
At least one Event Type created in your Cal.com dashboard (e.g., "15 Minute Discovery Call").
Step-by-step Connection Guide
1. Generate your Cal.com API Key
Log in to your Cal.com dashboard.
Click on Settings in the bottom-left corner.
Navigate to the Developer section and select API Keys.
Click Create a new API Key.
Give it a name (like "SkipCalls") and click Create.
Copy the API Key immediately. You won't be able to see it again after closing the window. It should start with
cal_orcal_live_.
2. Connect to SkipCalls
Log in to your SkipCalls dashboard.
Go to Settings → Appointment Booking.
Click the Connect Calendar button and select Cal.com from the list.
Paste your API Key into the provided field.
Click Connect.
3. Activate your Event Types
Once connected, your Cal.com Event Types will appear in the calendar list.
Find the Event Type you want your AI agent to use.
Toggle the Active switch next to it.
Your AI agent is now ready to book appointments for this specific event type!
