Because all payments are processed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google — not to SkipCalls.
Each platform has its own refund policy and review process.
Before requesting a refund
Step 1: Cancel your subscription
To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription first:
On iPhone/iPad:
Open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions
Tap SkipCalls
Tap Cancel Subscription
On Android:
Open Google Play Store → tap your profile icon
Go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
Tap SkipCalls → Cancel subscription
You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
How to request a refund
For Apple App Store (iOS)
Option 1: Via reportaproblem.apple.com
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
Sign in with your Apple ID
Find the SkipCalls purchase in your history
Click Report a Problem next to it
Select Request a refund and choose your reason
Submit the request
Option 2: Via Apple Support
Go to support.apple.com
Choose Billing & Subscriptions
Select Request a refund
Follow the prompts
Apple's refund policy: Apple reviews all requests individually. Refunds are typically approved for accidental purchases, technical issues, or charges within the last 90 days.
For Google Play (Android)
Option 1: Via Google Play website
Sign in with your Google account
Find the SkipCalls subscription charge
Click Report a problem → select I'd like to request a refund
Fill out the form and submit
Option 2: Via Google Play app
Open Google Play Store
Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions
Tap Budget & history → find the SkipCalls charge
Tap Refund
Google's refund policy:
Within 48 hours: Usually auto-approved
After 48 hours: Reviewed case-by-case (up to 4 business days)
Refund eligibility
Refunds are more likely to be approved if:
Recent purchase: Within 48 hours (Google) or 90 days (Apple)
Minimal usage: Little to no use of premium features
Technical issues: App didn't work as expected
Accidental purchase: Unintended subscription activation
Note: Apple and Google make the final decision. SkipCalls cannot process refunds for in-app purchases.
Common refund scenarios
Scenario 1: Accidental purchase
If you or a child accidentally subscribed:
Select "Accidental purchase" as the reason
Explain briefly what happened
These are commonly approved, especially for recent charges
Scenario 2: App didn't work
If SkipCalls had technical issues:
Select "Doesn't work as expected"
Describe the specific problem
Include device model and OS version if possible
Scenario 3: Charged after canceling
If you were charged after canceling:
Check your subscription status in Settings
Ensure cancellation was confirmed before the renewal date
Submit request with cancellation confirmation if available
Scenario 4: Forgot to cancel free trial
If your trial converted to paid:
Request refund as soon as possible
Select "I didn't mean to renew"
First-time cases are often approved
Refund processing time
Once approved:
Apple: 3-5 business days (credit card) or up to 30 days (other methods)
Google: 3-5 business days
Refund goes back to your original payment method
You'll receive an email confirmation from Apple/Google
