Step 1 - Cancel your subscription first
Before deleting your account, make sure to cancel your active subscription to avoid future charges. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing.
Step 2 - Delete your account
Once your subscription is cancelled, you can delete your account:
Option A: From the App
Log in to your SkipCalls account
Go to Settings
Navigate to Account
Scroll to Delete Account
Click Delete My Account
Confirm the deletion when prompted
Option B: Contact support
If you don't see the delete option or prefer assistance:

Request account deletion
We'll process your request within 24-48 hours
What gets deleted?
Once your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently erased:
All call recordings and transcripts
Agent configurations and settings
Contact information
Call history and analytics
Account profile and preferences
Billing history
โ ๏ธ This action cannot be undone.
If you sign up again later, you'll start fresh with no previous data.
Data retention period
After deletion:
Most data is erased immediately
Some data may be retained for up to 30 days for backup/recovery purposes
Legal or compliance-required data may be retained longer per regulations
After the retention period, all data is permanently destroyed
Alternative: Just cancel instead?
If you're unsure about permanent deletion, consider:
Cancel your subscription but keep your account
This preserves your historical data
You can reactivate anytime
No charges while inactive
FAQ
Will I get a refund if I delete my account?
Deleting your account doesn't automatically trigger a refund. If you believe you're entitled to a refund, submit a refund request before deleting your account.
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible after the retention period.
What happens to my phone number?
If you had a dedicated SkipCalls number, it will be released back to our pool and may be reassigned to another user.
