Turn Off Call Forwarding After SkipCalls
Deleting the SkipCalls app or canceling your subscription does not turn off call forwarding with your phone carrier. Until you disable forwarding, unanswered calls may still be sent to SkipCalls.
Before you turn it off
Want us to fix your receptionist instead?
Tell us what is not working the way you want. Reply normally to the text message that sent you this article, email [email protected], or open the chat assistant on this page.
Our team will join the conversation and help configure your greeting, call handling, transfers, scheduling, follow-up messages, and other receptionist settings for free.
Still want to turn off call forwarding?
Open the Phone app, dial every cancellation code listed for your carrier and the forwarding types you enabled, then press Call. Wait for a confirmation message or tone after each code.

If your carrier is not listed
Call your carrier and ask them to remove all active call-forwarding rules from your line. Do not keep trying codes from a different carrier.
Confirm that forwarding is off
Call your regular phone number from another phone.
Let it ring without answering.
The call should stay with your phone or reach your normal carrier voicemail. It should not reach SkipCalls.
If the call still reaches SkipCalls, reply normally to our text, email [email protected], or use the chat assistant on this page. Send your carrier name and the exact error or confirmation you heard, and we will help.
